DESCRIPTION:Mount Nelson is another trail runners’ dream\, but perhaps has often been hidden in plain sight. The open forests are inviting and a good mix of natural single track and fire trails. The courses are speedy\, and you can enjoy a unique view of Nipaluna/Hobart\, and the Mountain from Troglydate Track. \n\n\n\nThe Enduro (12.5km) course enjoys an epic loop in Bicentennial Park\, and then jumps over the road for a lap around even more amazing\, and lesser-trodden trails around Hobart College. DESCRIPTION:The Rail Trail Run and Ride is held on the picturesque North-East Rail Trail\, between Scottsdale and the Billycock. The event was established in 2018 and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale in partnership with The Launceston Running Club. This fantastic event not only showcases the North-East Rail Trail to the broader community\, but any profit from the event supports the development and ongoing maintenance of the trail. \n\n\n\nEvent distances ranging from 2km through to 54km\, with options to run\, ride\, or both!
