SUMMARY:Flinders Island Running Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Flinders Island Running Festival started in 2007 as a community fun run and health promotion day and has grown every year since!  \n\n\n\nThe Festival is still very much a community weekend and all participants of any age and fitness are encouraged to join in. There is a generous time cap for those who like to take their time\, but there is plenty of competition for runners who like to test themselves. If running isn’t your thing\, come along and support the events by cheering on the runners\, enjoying the beautiful view\, and having a chat with a local. \n\n\n\nThe signature events are the 5km parkrun at Whitemark Wharf\, followed by the 26km Pub2Pub Run that takes participants across the island with stunning views of Mt Strzelecki.
