SUMMARY:Light Up The Dark Run
DESCRIPTION:Put on some glow paint\, dress up in your brightest colours and enjoy a fun run with a difference in the Light up the Dark Run at Kingston Park.  \n\n\n\nThis vibrant\, family-friendly event will be a glowing spectacle of fun and fitness.  Run\, jog or walk around a course that will be lit up by lanterns and filled with community spirit. \n\n\n\nWith a choice of 2.5km or 5km\, the course along the Whitewater Creek Track features a loop through the Kingston Park playground with its array of coloured lights.  There will be food and drinks available post-race and a Glow Zone where you can hang out and enjoy some music and entertainment.   \n\n\n\nPresented by the Sandy Bay Harriers Athletic Club\, the event is being delivered in collaboration with the Kingborough Council and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects to promote well designed safe public spaces at night.  \n\n\n\nOur charity partner is the Sexual Assault Support Service\, with the event aligning with their aim of working towards a healthy\, safe Tasmania free from sexual harm.  $2.00 from every registration will be donated to SASS. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKingston TAS\n\n\n\nEvent Distance: 2.5km\, 5km \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganised by: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTRR Pacers: \n\n\n\nNo \n\n\n\n\n\nTRR Member Discount: \n\n\n\nNo

SUMMARY:Mother's Day Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Our aim is to deliver a fun\, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer. \n\n\n\nStarting and finishing at the Bellerive Beach Play Park\, walk or run 4km or 6km along the Bellerive track towards Howrah and return on the same track. SUMMARY:City to Casino
DESCRIPTION:Established in 1973\, City to Casino is the oldest fun run in Tasmania. Held in May each year the event attracts over 3\,000 participants of all ages and abilities. It offers four events across three courses\, providing plenty of choice and opportunity for participants of all ages and abilities. \n\n\n\nThe 12km Run starts in Glenorchy\, at MyState Arena\, while the 7km Run + Walk starts in Cornelian Bay. SUMMARY:The Great Train Race
DESCRIPTION:Entrants go head-to-head against the Don River Railway Steam train. \n\n\n\nThe race starts at the iconic Don River Railway and follows the beautiful Devonport walking track/Don River all the way to Coles Beach and return. \n\n\n\nAlong the way\, runners and walkers are entertained by all sorts of things and can hear the train chasing them down as it meanders its way through the Don Reserve.
