Description: This event starts at the impressive coastal formations of Tasman Arch/Devils Kitchen and traverses the clifftops via Clemes Peak through to Fortescue Bay. Along the way, you are spoilt with spectacular views over Eaglehawk Neck to the north and Cape Hauy and the Candle Stick to the south. The trail passes through Dracophylla forest and coastal Sheoak groves with the finish at stunning Fortescue Bay where a refreshing swim is mandatory!!
A shuttle bus will be available before the run to shuttle runners from Fortescue Bay (the finish) to the start at the Tasman Arch carpark.
Fortescue Bay is a great place for the family with a sheltered beach, walking tracks and great snorkelling. Why not make a weekend of it and camp at the Fortescue Bay campground on the saturday night. Or if pristine beachs don’t appeal to the family send them off to Port Arthur for the day!
Entry fee: $45 per person plus $10 if you’d like to use the shuttle bus before the run from Fortescue Bay to the start of the run, leaving at 9am from Fortescue Bay.
