Simply register online and download a barcode to print (it helps to laminate it, or you can purchase a keyring or wristband online), or you can use an online barcode. The events are casual and family-friendly. Each week a Run Director will give a race briefing, and upon finishing volunteers will scan your barcode (to record your time). If you forget your barcode, you can still run – you just won’t get a time. parkrun operates on a strict “no barcode, no time” policy.
You’ll be emailed your results later that day, including where you placed and whether it was a PB for you.
If you’re travelling interstate or overseas, you just take your barcode as per usual – there are over 450 locations across Australia and over 1200 worldwide that hold events every Saturday.
*Devonport starts at 8am.
