Riverbend Park – Tailrace Park
Starting at Riverbend Park, head over the pedestrian bridge towards the seaport and Royal Park. From there, follow the path over the bridge and onto the West Tamar Trail where you will find a couple of different tracks that lead to the Tailrace Park.
Run a loop on the boardwalk and head back to Riverbend Park – with the option of taking a few different trails.
Distance: 9.1km return
Riverbend Park – First Basin
Starting at Riverbend Park, head over the pedestrian bridge towards the seaport and Royal Park, then head over the bridge and take the Cataract Walk towards the First Basin.
Run a loop using the Basin Walk, past the pool and over the Suspension Bridge and past the rotunda. Then return over to Riverbend Park via the Cataract Walk.

Distance: 6.8km return
Around UTAS Newnham and Heritage Forest
Starting at Riverbend Park, head north on the flood levy, make your way to Mayne St and follow the path along the East Tamar Hwy until it takes you up the hill towards Foch St.
Head through Newnham Drive (the Uni) and through Mowbray to Heritage Forest and then follow the river back to Riverbend Park.
Distance: 12km loop
Hoblers Bridge Reserve
Starting at Riverbend Park head east along Lindsay St, then onto the ‘Black Bridge’ and along the track to Henry St and onto the North Esk Track, which goes through Hoblers Bridge Reserve.
Follow the track around the river to Hoblers Bridge Road and onto Elphin Rd, go through the City Park, onto the Esplanade and back to Riverbend Park.
